2018 – Raíces

imageAdeje, MAR. 2018 – La Musa presents its latest collective exhibition “Raíces” (Roots) in the frame of an internacional multimedia event, by the Italian sculptor Sarah Atzeni. In the year of its third anniversary, La Musa de Adeje continues promoting local art, this time trough the international event “When the voice of the stone allows the soul to speak”, a multimedia exhibition promoted by ARTe33, as a tribute to Sarah Atzeni, celebrating the International Women’s Day. The event was sponsored by Museo Ugo Guidi en Forte dei Marmi.

Apart from presenting Atzeni’s last creations, “Raíces” will delight visitors with works from other local artists, such as: Simona Peres, who recently received the First Prize in the IV Disello 2017 Competition, through which the National Post created a national stamp with a beautiful illustation from Peres under the title “Salen Palabras de mi Corazón” (Words are coming out from my heart). Simona is well known for her powerful female characters: “Parvati”, “Esmeralda” and “Amina and the moon”, among many others. This collection will also include several small size paintings from the prestigious artist Luis Alberto Hernández, from La Gomera, one of the main Canarian painters in the last 30 years, famous for his allegoris studies of the female figure and, lately, also portraiting exotic Canarian flowers and plants. Yaron Lambez, founder of La Musa de Adeje, will also be part of the exhibition with three of his last abstract works, with underwater inspiration.
